Photography

My decade in fashion and commercial photography has been a wild adventure where I've met all sorts of interesting people, worked with both the best & worst and have developed deep, personal insight into who I am and what I want to do in life. I encourage others to follow their passions and choose risk over safety... to live life with intent, rather than letting life live them.

Workshops

When I was new to photography I gobbled up instruction books, Googled terminology endlessly and harassed as many local pros as I could find. I'd bribe them with coffee, beer, lunch and countless happy hours... but although some of them were quite helpful, there was also a lot of misinformation and an underlying unwillingness to keep the old-fashioned trade secrets under wraps. So, I decided that when I was in the position, I'd do my part to teach other people everything I wished I'd known in the beginning and to get as many people away from shooting on "automatic" mode.

Cooking

Somewhere between my mother and my own keen desire to discover, eat and make the tastiest food available to me, I have become veritably obsessed with creating and sharing the most fantastic meals I can muster with as many people as I possibly can. The feeling of making a meal for someone else who truly enjoys it is one of my favorite things in life.
